Yoko has been my teacher for the past three years, and during that time I have learned so much. Before, I could not sing or play the piano as well as I do now, but thanks to her teaching, patience, and support, I have made a lot of progress and achieved the goals I set for myself. From the time I started until now, I feel that I have improved a lot, both in singing and playing the piano. I used to get very nervous during recitals, and it was difficult for me to play smoothly. Now I feel much more confident and can enjoy performing much more. Over time, I have also learned how to manage the shyness I used to feel in front of an audience. Sometimes I still get a little nervous when I am on stage singing, but the feeling goes away quickly. I am very grateful to Yoko for helping me grow as a musician and for making me feel capable of achieving things I never thought I could.

We are very grateful with Yoko for being Emilia's teacher. She focuses not only on the technique but also on the emotions, and the body movement. There are so many dimensions to her teaching. Thanks to Yoko, Emilia has been progressing a lot and even though she gets nervous before the concerts, she performs amazingly, and that really boosts her confidence. We are very happy with Yoko’s piano lessons. Our daughter Romina has learned very quickly and really enjoys every class. She recently told us that Yoko is her favorite teacher. She is a very dedicated teacher who makes the lessons interesting for her students; she has sparked a real desire in our daughter to keep learning, and the recital she organizes is so beautiful.

Yoko brings our piano to life every Wednesday! She is a very professional yet fun and sweet teacher for my daughter. We see so much improvement every lesson. Between classical and modern songs, she makes sure her students enjoy and learn to love the instrument while also teaching them discipline, for me, that’s a perfect combination. The concerts are such a special and meaningful moment for students and their families. It takes a lot of courage to get on stage and perform in front of others and Yoko leads by example on this. My daughter says “I have a lot of fun, learn news songs and my cats can join the class” 😅 Thanks, Yoko, for being a great teacher!

I am impressed how my two children Dalaï (10) y Djuno (6), with no musical background, got into piano so naturally. In less than 4 months they were able to play each, several beautiful musical pieces...I was so surprised by the results. I like that Yoko teaches in a natural way, not a classical and strict method. The children can choose which piece to learn and it makes it more fun.
