The Process

The concert is over, and our regular lessons and daily practice continue — with the dreams and possibilities that were born from the concert.

I want to play the piano as beautifully as she does.

I want to sing confidently on stage, without fear.

I want to perform this piece at the next concert.

These are not small wishes. They are the first sign that something has taken root. And they will become real — as long as you don't give up.

I want to name, honestly, some of the challenges you might face on the road between a dream and its realization.

You might feel frustrated that your fingers won't move as fluently as you'd like. Anxious when you compare your progress to others. Lost, unsure of where you're heading, or whether the effort is worth it. Perhaps powerless, small, or even angry.

These feelings are not signs that something is wrong. They are signs that you are inside the process — that you have gone deep enough to feel the resistance. You are expanding yourself by breaking your old shells to grow bigger.

Within the darkness lie new possibilities — the opportunity to encounter your true essence, your hidden strength, your unique beauty.

Trust the process.

Little by little. Step by step. You and the piano. You and your voice. No one else.
